Dr.P.Ravinder Rao, with a doctorate in education is a leading educationist in North Telangana region and in Karimnagar. He is the promoter of Swetha Educational Society which runs Women’s Engineering college and Management Institution in Karimnagar. Dr.P.Ravinder Rao is a dynamic and pragmatic leader having a vast experience in the field of education. He is a visionary with passion rendering services to the cause of education. He has been a source of inspiration and guiding spirit to various institutions running under his stewardship. He was an Executive Council member of Kakatiya University for a period of 9 years from 1999.

In 1993, with a vision to create business professionals ventured to start Kakatiya institute of Management Studies (MBA College) and the college so far produced so many business management professionals and paved the way for many students to occupy good positions in reputed organizations in abroad and India

Later during 1997 the Dr. P Ravinder Rao has started KIMS Degree College with Under Graduate Courses and since then the college is running successfully and it has become one of the prestigious institution in Karimnagar and its adjoining regions. Soon, the college has grown leaps and bounds and started Post Graduate courses in 2000.

Dr.Ravinder Rao is a thinker and doer as well. During 2008 aimed at transforming the girls into highly competent women engineers, with professional skills and great self-confidence started sahaja Institute of Technology & Sciences for Women which is the first women’s engineering college in North Telangana region. With his foresightedness he made technical education accessible to young women aspirants in the north Telangana region.

After successfully running various educational institutions, KIMS group of institutions now has forayed into Hotel Management course, sensing the need for such a employment oriented course globally. It has established the college in the name and style as, “KIMS College of Hotel Management”, in its own building in Karimnagar, with the state of art infrastructure and with latest equipment’s and smart class rooms.
